$9.99Friendly Steps
You had a fun night out, now you have to walk home. The catch: you steer each leg on its own, while roped to up to three friends. Friendly Steps is a hard, funny co-op physics walk through bridges, stairs, parks and bad shortcuts.
Is Friendly Steps worth it?
Friendly Steps is worth it if…
- you like hard physics games where the controls are the joke
- you want 1-4 player co-op chaos with voice chat and shared falls
- you like hunting for shortcuts, items, quests, and silly outfits

One leg, then the other
You lift the left foot, place it, then do the same with the right, over and over. On flat pavement that feels silly. On stairs, hills, and narrow bridges, it feels like an exam you took drunk.
You can crawl when walking fails, and you will land face-first plenty of times. The city keeps adding parks, construction sites, playgrounds, and sketchy shortcuts, plus odd items, quests, and side paths to tempt you off the safe route. A speedrun mode waits once you actually remember how to walk.
Roped to your bad decisions
You play solo or with up to four people online, with voice chat built in so everyone can narrate the fall in real time. Together, you are tied with rope, like a mountaineering team after last call.
One person slips off a bridge and the rest get to choose: hold on or join the flight. You pick ridiculous outfits too, from salaryman to firefighter to punk to cop to streamer, with emotes for celebrating a curb you finally cleared. The rope was supposedly for support.
Good to know?
How does the rope work?
In co-op, your characters are linked by rope for one to four players. It keeps the group close, which helps on easy ground and hurts everywhere else. Fall off something with the rope on and you can pull your friends with you.
What kind of places do you walk through?
Every corner adds a new physics problem, and the suspicious shortcuts are usually as trustworthy as they sound.
