Is Pratfall worth it?
Pratfall is worth it if…
- you want a co-op game where the plan falls apart and that is the point
- you like short runs you can jump into with a lobby of friends
- you enjoy wobbly physics, explosions and digging your own way down
- you prefer quick, silly sessions over long, careful campaigns
- you don't mind bugs and rough edges in exchange for the chaos

A rescue mission straight down
Your best friend fell through a construction site in the dog park, and the only way to go is down. You dig your own path with a pickaxe and drill, cross crevasses on ziplines, plant magic beans when the terrain refuses to cooperate, and light the dark with flares and glowsticks. Food heals injuries, buried loot glitters in different colours, and every run ends at the bottom or with you at the bottom of a pit. The goal is simple and the route is yours to ruin.
Every run digs differently
The caves are procedurally generated across three biomes: dirt, ice and lava. No two descents are the same, so runs stay short and repeatable, and how fast you go is the real decision. The lava biome is the hardest stretch: bats eat the ground out from under you and solid footing is scarce. Gold you earn goes into cosmetics for your character, new noses and eyes included, which gives each run a small reason beyond reaching the dog.
Friends are both the tool and the hazard
Everyone down there is missing a dog too, so you head down together. When a friend falls, you catch them; when they are down, you revive them at a cat statue. Or you feed them weird stuff and toss them a bomb, and see what happens. Voice proximity chat means you hear each other only when close, so a distant scream tells you exactly how far away they are.
