Is PEAK worth it?
PEAK is worth it if…
- you want a co-op game built around teamwork with two or three friends
- you like runs that mix panic and laughter when plans fall apart
- you like trying a new procedurally generated layout each day

Built for climbing with friends
Playing with friends is the main draw here. You can take on the mountain by yourself or bring up to three friends along, and online play happens only with people you invite.
Runs bring laughter, panic and chaos with friends. You miss a ledge, a friend grabs your hand, then someone else slips while you are all deciding who carries the energy drinks. Those close rescues and long falls make for good stories later.
A different island every day
Every day brings a new layout to learn, while a rough day still leaves room for another go before the island rolls over. That turnover keeps runs fresh, and the game holds players' attention for a long time.
Food, injuries and thin stamina
The climb passes through four biomes, each with its own dangers. Staying fed means trusting food you probably shouldn't, and every injury shrinks the stamina you have left for the next wall. Your pack can hold useful finds like energy drinks, climbing spikes and the odd Anti-Rope, each one a small edge on the way up.
Some find the early climbing hard to grasp, while others say it eases you in. Give it some time to learn what you can grab and what is safe to eat.
Lost scouts working toward rescue
Stranded with no way out, your small scout group has a single plan: get to the top of the central peak to be rescued.
When someone can't reach, you can lend a hand directly, or leave ropes and spikes behind so climbers after you have a simpler path. Players can talk through proximity chat, so calls for help only travel so far. Campfires and marshmallows add a lighter touch to the expedition.
Anything else about PEAK?
Can I play PEAK solo?
Yes. You can climb alone or with up to three friends. Solo play feels weaker than playing with friends.
How do I join multiplayer games?
There is no public lobby to join. Multiplayer is only with friends you invite, so plan to bring your own group of scouts.
Does the climb stay the same?
No. The game is procedurally generated and the map changes every 24 hours.
What else is there besides climbing?
You can customize your character's look, with cosmetics unlocked through play. Exploration, investigation and mystery run alongside the climbing, and ghosts, campfires and marshmallows are part of the game.
Is there more after the first summit?
Yes. Numbered ascension levels offer harder challenges, and there is even a secret ending to find.
