$14.99Mycopunk
Cut through fungal aliens as a robot reject hired by the SAXON corporation. You pick absurd weapons, cram mods into a grid until they turn brilliant or broken, and run planet-side missions solo or in 4-player co-op, with a roach man waiting back on the ship.
Is Mycopunk worth it?
Mycopunk is worth it if…
- you like fast, colorful co-op shooting in short missions
- you like fiddling with builds until a weapon turns strange
- you like funny sci-fi with robots, corporations and one roach man

Ridiculous weapons built on a grid
You start with futuristic guns and a few power tools, then the tinkering takes over. Every mission hands you new mods to jam into your upgrade grids, and whatever fits is fair game. Mix, match and stack them until your scrappy robot becomes a healing support, a chainsaw with a deflector shield, or a walking bomb.
You pull a mod off one gun, slot it sideways into another, and suddenly the whole build mutates. It might become a finely tuned death machine. It might become an engineering mistake. That gamble is half the point.
Extermination shifts with a corporate smell
You drop onto a planet mid fungal catastrophe as part of the New Atlas Hazard Crew, driving back hordes that corrupt and weaponize the local tech. Crawlies come apart piece by piece, but anything they drop can get grabbed up by another enemy, so finishing the job matters.
Between missions you regroup on an orbital dropship full of toys and games. You hang out, pick up more of the galaxy's story, and chat with Roachard Cox, the insectoid SAXON veteran. Profitable glory awaits, or at least avoidance of the scrap heap.
What else should you know?
Can you play it solo?
Yes. It supports singleplayer alongside 4-player online co-op and PvE missions, so you can run the same planet-side jobs alone or bring a full crew.
How do enemy drops work?
Enemies corrupt the planet's technology and turn it against you. When you blow crawlies apart, what they drop stays in play and another enemy can grab it, so it pays to keep shooting until nothing is left moving.
What do you do between missions?
You return to an orbital dropship packed with toys and games. It is a breather between jobs, a place to hang out with friends, learn more about the galaxy, and talk with Roachard Cox before the next drop.
