$19.99Chained Beasts
Chained Beasts is a 1-4 player co-op gladiator roguelike where you fight in the Colosseum literally chained to your friends. Trip enemies with the chain, throw urns or foes, dodge spikes and snakes, and play to the crowd while wounds pile up. Brutal, chaotic and funny, best with a full group.

Chained together in the arena
You enter each fight linked to your allies, and that chain decides everything. Move apart and you snag on a pillar, drift too far and you drag each other into trouble. Time it right and you can trip enemies, yank a friend out of danger, or swing a foe into spikes, snake pits and urns.
Combat is slash, hack, block and throw. You can hurl weapons for distance work, then scramble when you are left empty-handed. The crowd watches it all, rewarding bold fighting and pelting you when you bore them. Expect fast rounds where coordination matters more than perfect swordplay.
Wounds, skills and the road to Rome
Surviving the day leaves marks. You limp, lose sight in one eye, or swing at hallucinations only you can see. Potions ease the pain but bring side effects, and surgery is always an option, of a sort.
To balance the misery, experience teaches you powerful skills, the crowd backs you when you win them over, and money buys weapons and equipment. You also unlock new characters with their own abilities, and rising fame brings brutal boss fights from arena heroes. Each run takes a different path toward Rome, freedom or revenge.
How does it play?
Can you play it solo?
Yes. Chained Beasts supports 1-4 players, so you can enter the arena alone. Solo removes the tangling, dragging and rescue work that defines group play, which makes coordination simpler but keeps the brutal fights, wounds, bosses and crowd.
How do the chains actually work in a fight?
The chain links your group together at all times. Poor spacing leaves you wrapped around pillars or pulling each other off balance, while good timing lets you trip enemies and control space. It turns movement into a shared decision, which is where much of the slapstick comes from.
What do wounds do to your gladiator?
Wounds change how your fighter handles. You might limp, fight half-blind, or see threats that are not there. Healing potions help but can add new afflictions, so every fix has a cost. Skills, equipment, unlocked characters and crowd support are how you stay competitive while falling apart.
