Is Keep Digging worth it?
Keep Digging is worth it if…
- you want a low-pressure game where the only real enemy is running out of energy
- you like loops of gather, craft and upgrade that reward one more run
- you enjoy digging with friends more than fighting them, though PvP is there if you want it
- you like randomized worlds where every playthrough digs a different map

Dig, haul, upgrade, repeat
The loop is simple and it sticks. You dig, you carry your ores back to the surface, you sell them or smelt them into ingots, and you spend the earnings on making the next descent easier. Each trip funds better shovels, drills and equipment, and better equipment lets you reach ore that was out of reach last time. What you bring back from one dig changes what you can do on the next one. It is the kind of progress that feels earned one haul at a time, and the kind of loop that quietly eats an evening.
Forge gear from what you find
Version 2.0 turns everything you dig up into progress. Ores go into the smelter and come out as ingots. Blueprints found underground let you forge your own equipment, and more than 350 items give you plenty to work toward. Equipment, blueprints and orbs all have quality levels, so two copies of the same item can perform differently. That makes every find worth a second look: the chest you just cracked might hold the piece that carries you through the next stretch of rock.
Build your own build with orbs
Gemstones become mysterious orbs with random effects, and combining orbs stacks multiple effects onto your equipment. Random stats are added each time you create or combine one, so no two setups come out quite the same. Refine it over time, chase the setup that fits how you like to dig, and aim for equipment that takes you deeper, faster and stronger.
A world that resets every run
Digging straight down matters, but so does securing a way back: explore your surroundings, mark out a return route, and plan the descent instead of just tunneling blindly. The layered structure of the world gives you plenty to get lost in, and a fresh map every run means there is always another layout to learn.
Digging is better with company
Explore the underground together, split up to cover more ground, or lean into the PvP side and compete for items, with encounters where someone else walks off with your find. Costumes like samurai and gorilla outfits and emotes with special effects keep the mood light while you all chip away at the same hole.
