Room clearing that starts at the door
GERONIMO is a close-quarters shooter built from the ground up for VR, where every entry is a decision made with your hands. You stack up, check your angle, and decide how the door comes down: a kick, a ram, a shotgun round, or a breaching charge you place and pull the lanyard on. Some missions are even inspired by real-world raids. Once you are inside, careful movement and clear communication matter more than raw speed, because the rooms are tight and the fights are close. It is tense, physical work, and the moment a plan comes together with your team is the reason to come back.
Weapons you work, not point
Firearms here are systems, not props. You lock the bolt by hand, charge the weapon, swap magazines and work the slide, all with deliberate hand movements. Flip the fire selector from safe to semi, or hold it to go full auto. Magazines have witness holes, so a glance tells you how many rounds you have left. Precision and muscle memory pay off, and reloading under fire becomes its own small skill.
Your operator, your loadout
Customization here is not cosmetic. You shape your operator's face, clothing and armor, then build the kit piece by piece: position pouches where your hands expect them, configure your vest for the role you are playing, and set up each weapon with the optics, lights and grips that fit how you fight. Every choice carries weight in VR. A heavy setup slows you down over long engagements, a poorly placed optic makes target acquisition harder, and a full-length rifle reaches far but turns awkward in a tight stairwell. Your loadout defines how you move, fight and survive.
Training ranges worth the trip
Before a mission, you can drill in dedicated practice spaces: shooting ranges with dynamic targets and killhouses built for room-clearing practice. The IPSC-style courses are a highlight, with timed challenges, shot timers and target resets that make improvement measurable. Run a course solo for a personal best, or race routes against teammates and keep the rivalry friendly. Killhouses give you a slower, more tactical kind of practice, working angles, communication and close-quarters decisions with your squad.
