Sword in one hand, weather in the other
You explore, fight in real time, and solve puzzles with the Elements you restore. Fire lights what needs lighting, ice holds enemies still long enough to regret meeting you, electricity and more exploit weaknesses when your sword and shield alone will not cut it.
You mix and match them in tough encounters and boss battles, then use those same powers to pry open secrets and previously inaccessible areas. Upgrades, hearts, magic, coins, and potions keep you going, and the locals you help along the way give the trip some heart.
Eight temples, eight biomes, one guilty conscience
The Elements have gone wild, and each one sits in its own temple waiting to be conquered. You travel through deserts, volcanoes, and other distinct biomes, each with its own foes, puzzles, secrets, and inhabitants in need of a hand.
The temples start simple and get trickier as you go, with mazes, traps, and boss fights that test what you have learned. It is a story about healing a broken world and a broken self, told in chunky pixel graphics with a retro snap. The guilt is heavy. The backpack full of elements helps.
Good to know before you play?
How does the combat work?
You fight in real time with a sword and shield, plus the Elements you have restored, like Fire, Water, and Electricity. You combine them to hit enemy weaknesses, freeze or wear down tougher foes, and get through encounters that plain sword swings cannot finish.
What do you actually do in the temples?
You work through 8 unique temples packed with puzzles, dangerous foes, secrets, and boss battles. Each temple centers on its resident Element, so expect locks that need the right power and fights that reward using it well.
How does progression open up the world?
Restoring an Element unlocks its abilities, which let you reach new locations, solve new puzzles, and enter areas that were closed before. Exploring the 8 biomes also turns up upgrades and side help for the inhabitants.
What kind of story is it?
Driven by guilt, you set out to amend your actions and restore the Elements in a dying world. It is framed as self-discovery: fix the world, fix yourself, one temple at a time.
