$24.99DYSPLACED Smash a fantasy world for parts
Fight, craft and build your way through a broken realm where modern junk passes for magic and everything is made of spare parts.
Is DYSPLACED worth it?
DYSPLACED is worth it if…
- you like games where the scenery is a resource and demolition is the whole point
- you want survival crafting with a strange twist instead of another bare forest
- you enjoy mixing loot, perks and weapon parts into your own build
- you have a friend to wreck a fantasy world with, online or on the couch

A world you can take apart
Nearly everything here is destructible: trees, wheelbarrows, plows, barrels, houses. Survival means demolishing the scenery, and the scenery has plenty to give. You swing an axe, hammer or sword, or put modern tools to work, and the world comes apart into materials for skills and crafting. It is a simple loop that gets its hooks in: break things, gather, get stronger, break bigger things. The top-down view keeps the whole mess readable, so you always know what is next on the demolition list.
Modern junk mistaken for magic
The Eternals cracked the fabric of the world, and objects from ours are seeping through: firearms, landmines, busses, things with no name in any language spoken here.
Build a hero your way
You probably cannot be best at everything, so the choices matter. Armor, tools and gear round out a character shaped entirely by what you scavenge, forge and pick.
Gather, cook, and keep going
The survival side stays friendly rather than punishing. Make a campfire wherever the road leaves you, set up a workbench and forge, and push further into a vast, beautiful, dying realm at your own pace.
Outposts in a dying realm
A well-equipped outpost makes all the difference when the frontier turns hostile, and a crafted teleporter ties your spread of bases together. There are no raids to fend off; building here is about staging your expeditions and having a home that looks like two eras collided.
Better with a friend
You can play solo, online or local co-op, and bringing a friend changes the texture of the whole thing. One of you swings at a house while the other loots the rubble, and plans fall apart in funny ways when grenades and physics get involved. The world is dream-infused and strange enough that sharing the confusion is half the fun.
What should you know before playing?
Can you play it solo?
Yes. The whole game works alone, online or local co-op is optional. Some players even argue certain things are better witnessed alone. If you do bring a second player on the couch, expect the co-op systems to feel rougher than the solo experience right now.
What is the story about?
The Eternals, ancient and patient, cracked the world once before, and almost no one remembers it except the Watchers. Villagers welcome you, some denizens know more than they say, and hidden quests reward those who poke around.
