Pigeons, upgraded into weapons
You start small: pick up a pigeon, throw it at someone, watch the panic spread. Then the upgrades kick in. Strap explosives to your birds and the panic gets louder, and once the pigeonado skill is fully upgraded, you call down a whole flock at once. One player describes standing on a car, unleashing a max-level pigeonado and spinning like a beyblade through the aftermath. The game rarely stops you with "you can't do that yet", so messing around until something absurd happens is not a bug in your plans. It is the plan.
A story with a hook-handed clown in it
Yes, this game has an actual storyline, and it is stranger than you expect. You will meet mutant sewer rat people from the '80s, a mentally unstable clown with a hook for a hand, and a bored rich man who pays you to punch strangers. Every character is fully voiced, and the dialogue leans hard into personality. The story is self-aware and full of pop culture jokes, with twists near the end that catch people off guard. It is silly from start to finish, and it knows exactly what it is.
Surviving the streets, one dumpster at a time
Day to day, you live the street life: dig through trash for scraps and sellable junk, beg for small change, fight rival bums for turf, and eat what you can find. Mix alcohol with things you picked off the ground to brew powerful concoctions, then drink them for a boost or hurl them at enemies for a devastating effect. Your shopping cart, Carl, carries everything you own and follows you around like a best friend. When a propane tank turns out to be worth good money while the rest is trash, scavenging starts to feel like a skill.
