$4.99Bleed
Wryn wants to be the ultimate videogame hero, so she plans to defeat the current Greatest Heroes of All Time and take the title. Bleed is a fast, acrobatic action-platformer built around that chase: seven short levels, inventive bosses, slow-motion dodging, and a wide arsenal to mix and match.
Is Bleed worth it?
Bleed is worth it if…
- you like fast, difficult 2D shooters and boss fights
- you enjoy replaying short arcade runs for better ranks
- you want local co-op or extra modes like arcade and boss challenges
- you like retro pixel art with a light, funny hero story

Slow down time and stay airborne
Bleed is about moving fast and thinking slightly slower. You run, triple-jump, air-dash, and shoot in any direction while the screen fills with bullets, then tap slow-motion to thread through a gap you had no business surviving.
You drop into bullet time above a boss, drift sideways between two spirals of shots, and keep firing on the way down. The controls stay responsive at speed, and higher difficulties remix enemy placement and boss patterns rather than just adding health. Finishing a run cleanly is hard, which makes each cleared level feel earned.
Seven levels of heroes asking for trouble
The structure is lean: seven levels packed with set-pieces, traps, and bosses, each ending with another so-called Greatest Hero standing in your way. Wryn answers with rockets, lasers, a katana, and other unlockable weapons that change how fights play.
Beating the story unlocks more ways to play, including Arcade Mode on a single life and Challenge Mode where you can face up to three bosses at once. There are three unlockable characters with their own twists, four difficulty levels, and local co-op for two players across the modes. The pixel art is simple and cute, backed by a retro soundtrack.
What else should you know?
How long is a run?
Short. The seven levels move quickly from fight to fight with little filler, so a single clear can be done in one sitting. The length comes from replaying: higher difficulties, better ranks, Arcade Mode, Challenge Mode, and unlockable characters and weapons.
How does slow-motion work?
It is a limited resource you trigger to briefly slow the action, giving you room to aim, dodge dense bullet patterns, or land safely during tricky jumps. The meter needs to recharge, so the choice is when a packed screen is worth spending it on.
Can you play it with a friend?
Yes, in two-player local co-op across the modes. Note that it requires at least one gamepad, and a controller is generally the comfortable way to handle the twin-stick shooting, dashing, and slow-motion.
