PANICORE is a co-op survival horror for up to 5 co-op friends, trapped as urban explorers in an abandoned place with something hunting them. You split up to find items, solve puzzles, hide in cabinets and under tables, and pick one of several escape routes while the monster listens to your steps and your voice.
Is PANICORE worth it?
PANICORE is worth it if…
- you like co-op games where talking quietly is part of the plan
- you want short horror rounds of searching, hiding, and escaping together
- you like splitting up tasks while something hunts your group

Whisper or get caught
The monster hears your feet and your microphone. That turns every plan with co-op friends into quiet coordination, hand signals through in-game voice chat, and one person talking too loud at the worst moment. You creep through corridors, cut your flashlight, and squeeze into cabinets, under tables, or the shadows when it passes. Do it right and you slip past. Do it wrong and your whole lobby learns who cannot whisper.
Find the items, pick the way out
Each location traps you until you find the right items scattered around and use them in the right places to open a way out. There is more than one distinct escape route, so your crew can choose the shorter risk or the longer search. Solving puzzles while the AI hunts you keeps rounds short, social, and easy to restart. With permadeath on the line, leaving one explorer behind starts to sound reasonable.
What should you know before playing?
How many co-op friends can join you?
Up to five explorers can play together, and you can also try to escape alone or with a smaller crew. Fewer players means fewer eyes on items and puzzles, and nobody to watch the corridor while you search.
Can you play it solo?
Yes. Singleplayer is supported, so you can learn a map, item spots, and hiding places on your own. It is lonelier that way, and there is nobody to distract the monster while you run for the exit.
What do you play as?
You play as urban explorers who came looking for lost art, treasure, and abandoned schools and buildings, then got trapped inside. Fear sets in when the way out is blocked and something else is in there with you.
How does the monster find you?
It is driven by AI and reacts to sound, including your steps and your voice. Staying quiet, standing still, and killing the light help, but hiding is never a promise.
