Is PANICORE worth it?
PANICORE is worth it if…
- you want a horror game that turns your friends' voices into a liability
- you like short, tense runs where every attempt plays out differently
- you enjoy hide-and-seek against an AI that punishes noise
- you want co-op chaos where the plan always falls apart
- you prefer escaping a haunted school to shooting your way out

A monster that listens to everything
The thing hunting you does not only see. It hears your footsteps, and it hears your voice. Talk into your mic at the wrong moment and it comes running. That single rule turns every corridor into a decision: whisper to your team and risk being heard, or go quiet and lose track of each other.
When it gets close, you use the building. Duck into a cabinet, slide under a table, press into the shadows and stay still while it passes. Every move could be your last, and the AI keeps pressing until your plan falls apart. It is a hide-and-seek game where the seeker never gets bored.
Getting out is a puzzle
You are urban explorers who ignored the warnings and went in. Now the doors are shut and something is inside with you. To leave, you hunt for items scattered around the location and use them in the right place, working through puzzles while the clock and the monster both close in.
Each map offers more than one escape route, so your group decides how to split up, what to carry and when to run for it. Item spawns are random, so a route that worked last run may not exist this time. You learn the buildings, not a script.
Better with friends in the room
This is a game built for a lobby. One friend whispers a plan, another forgets and shouts, and suddenly everyone is sprinting in different directions.
That is where the fun lives: plans collapsing, someone hiding in a cabinet pretending not to exist, someone else yelling as they bolt for the exit. There is even a lobby with mini-games while you wait, and unlockable characters to collect. Playing solo works, but the screaming is a team activity.
