A whole planet to compete for
Your neighbour is building an empire too. Buy land on a small, spherical planet and turn your first buildings into a base worth defending. PlanetX is a free-to-play online real-time strategy game where your economy and your army compete for space.
Watch your base take shape
Construction aircraft carry each building into place. Start with a warehouse and the essentials, then grow a city of homes, factories and military facilities. Every new plot gives you another choice.
Build the economy behind your army
Find productive land, house your workers and keep your factories supplied. Check how buildings under construction will change production before you commit to more. Trade what you have and expand when your base can support it.
Get your forces ready
Produce tanks and aircraft, then move them to charging stations. Your army needs electricity, and a bigger army puts more pressure on your economy. Choose where to reinforce and where to attack.
Take the fight across the border
Send tanks across the border and aircraft after enemy targets. Defence towers can protect your territory while you fight elsewhere. Build your Arsenal and use the Command Centre to help manage a growing army.
Choose your allies. Share the victory.
A neighbour can help defend your territory instead of attacking it. Negotiate non-aggression pacts, exchange resources and form an alliance with shared defence. Develop your diplomatic buildings and gather support for a federation victory.
Raise the stakes
Launch missiles, build a Starport and bring a battleship into the fight. Conquest is one route to victory. You can also work towards an economic victory by building a food freighter for the Emperor, or try a scenario with a different objective.
Pick your pace
Explore Alpha, Beta and Gamma. Fast planets suit a campaign over roughly a day; slow planets can unfold over weeks. Match length depends on the players. Team Raid puts you on the same side against the Emperor, with shared resources and different production roles.
