Draw a card and try not to blow up
The rules fit in one breath: draw cards, dodge the Exploding Kittens hiding in the deck, stay alive. You hold onto a Defuse for when one lands in your hand, play a Nope to ruin someone else's plan, and watch the lead change with every draw.
Rounds stay short, so losing just means dealing again. The animations give each card some bounce, and the whole thing has the cheerful logic of living with a cat: nothing is safe, especially you.
Dress up your avatar and talk trash in emoji
You get your own avatar to dress in different outfits, plus a personal emoji set for reacting mid-game. It is where the table talk lives: gloating, begging, and finely sharpened trash talk without typing a word.
You can play alone against AI bots to learn the cards, or take the chaos online with friends. Extra card sets come through DLC expansions, which keep the deck changing if the classic cards start feeling familiar.
Good to know?
How do you win a round?
Avoid drawing an Exploding Kitten without a way out. Use cards like Defuse and Nope to survive or sabotage others, and be the last player still standing.
What do the extras add?
Custom outfits for your avatar, emoji sets for reactions, and extra card sets through DLC. The base game is the classic draw-and-dodge loop; the add-ons widen the wardrobe and the deck.
