Portals change every fight
Portals only open on marked surfaces, so every map becomes a puzzle of sightlines and shortcuts. You can fire through one, fly through another, or step back through your own portal mid-duel and appear behind someone who still thinks you are in front of them. The classic move: open a ring of portals, circle a confused enemy, and land the shot from a direction they never watched. Aim still matters, but the winner is often the one who reads the geometry better. You were not outgunned, you were outpositioned, and there is no feeling quite like it.
Maps, modes and ways to play
More than 20 maps, each with its own setting and feel: a research facility inside an active volcano, an underwater luxury hotel, an alien crash site. Each one plays differently, so you keep adjusting your tactics. Over 15 casual and competitive modes sit on top, from familiar team battles to stranger inventions, plus grindable challenges, dozens of customizable characters, and a ranked ladder if you want your matches to count. There is also a custom lobby with modifiers. Big-Head Mode with low gravity and unlimited ammo is the recommended way to spend an evening with friends.
