Steal moves and build your style
You beat an opponent, take a move, and decide what stays. Keep the sweep that keeps working or trade it for something with better synergy, then upgrade the keepers into harder-hitting tools. Over a run your fighter drifts toward zoning, grappling or all-out rushdown, depending on what you picked and what the opponents offered. With a large cast of characters with their own perks and a long list of learnable moves, there are thousands of builds to stumble into. Simple and motion inputs both work, so flashy combos stay within reach while the combinations stay open.
Solo arcade climb, your difficulty
No ladders, no online lobbies, just one-on-one duels through escalating leagues and ascension runs. You pick your path, fight, adapt, and try to claim the title before a bad matchup ends the run. Three grooves set the terms. Classic is the standard climb, Cozy offers up to five optional modifiers that make runs more approachable, and Fierce adds modifiers that make everything tougher and less predictable. It all comes wrapped in retro visuals, snappy animation, responsive controls and a loud soundtrack, built for a controller and quick rematches.
Good to know before you step in?
How does learning moves actually work?
Every opponent you defeat gives you access to new moves. You choose what to add, what to replace, and what to upgrade, so your moveset changes fight by fight. Later opponents offer different options, which is why runs rarely play the same way twice.
What are the three grooves?
They are difficulty and pace settings for your runs. Classic Groove is the normal experience, Cozy Groove lets you switch on up to five modifiers that ease things up, and Fierce Groove switches on modifiers that raise the challenge and add unpredictability.
What are you climbing toward?
Three leagues, then ascension runs for extra tests. You choose a route through them, win duels to grow stronger, and keep going until you earn the title or get knocked out.
Do you unlock anything between runs?
Yes. There is a discovery loop that unlocks more playable characters over time, and each character brings unique perks that change how future builds come together.
