Walk, dodge, become overpowered
You run laps around the arena while attacks fire on their own, so survival comes down to positioning, dashes, and which of three level-up picks you take. Experience gems feed those levels, and heroes, companions, and perk synergies shape each run into something screen-filling and slightly unreasonable. Rising difficulties and combinable nightmares keep adding enemy pressure and awkward trade-offs, which is exactly when a bad pick starts to feel funny.
A camp that makes runs stronger
Between runs you spend talent points across three trees, with up to ten points placed around healing, damage, experience gain, and stranger comforts like closer spawns or better finds. Unlockable heroes and companions widen the options, and each Depth brings its own enemies, minibosses, bosses, merchants, and a one-run bonus to choose before you head in. The pixel art stays clean and readable, backed by a heavy metal soundtrack that suits the later chaos.
Good to know?
How do runs actually play?
You pick a hero, enter a portal from camp, and survive waves of walkers, ranged enemies, minibosses, and a final boss. Killing enemies drops experience and sometimes gold for merchants, and leveling offers damage, crit, pickup range, hero abilities, and companions. An auto mode can handle attacks while you focus on walking and dodging.
What changes between Depths?
You move through four deadly Depths with different enemies and bosses. After a boss falls, a merchant appears and a portal opens, and entering it lets you choose a bonus that lasts only for that area, such as shields against projectiles or extra gold drops.
What is there to unlock over time?
New heroes and companions join the roster as you complete tasks, and talent points feed permanent growth through healing, combat power, and utility. Later combinations can feel very strong, including builds aimed at long survival without getting hit, so theory-crafting is part of the fun.
Are there extras around the camp?
The hub holds skill trees, cosmetics, alchemy, plus fishing and gambling diversions. Fishing has its own timing at the well, and gambling trades coins for small rewards, so both suit a breather between harder difficulty and nightmare attempts.
