Is PHUY worth it?
PHUY is worth it if…
- you want a horror game to play with friends, where the scares and the laughs come from the same mess
- you enjoy heists where the plan falls apart and you improvise your way to the exit
- you like figuring out monster behaviors yourself instead of following a guide
- you don't mind a rough early access edge in exchange for a game with room to grow

Heists are better with a crew
PHUY is built for 1 to 4 players, and it shines brightest as a group. You split up to search the museum, call out what you find, and work through puzzles together when the way forward is locked. Someone always has to carry the loot, and someone always drops it at the worst moment. The lobby itself is part of the fun: hanging out at your base between heists, throwing drinks around and messing with the music can eat half an hour before anyone touches a museum. Even the rescues become comedy, as one friend drags you to safety while the next one goes down.
A museum that fights back
The museum has inhabitants, and none of them are happy about visitors. Each one behaves differently, so the plan that worked last run gets you caught this time. You learn their patterns, figure out what actually stops them, and adapt: hide, run, or use something you stole along the way. Some of the valuables come in handy before you ever reach the exit, which gives every grab a second purpose. The tension builds as you creep deeper with an armful of loot and no clear way out.
Physics with opinions
Players, objects and the museum all push against each other, and things rarely go the way you planned. Doors, loot and friends behave like real weight, so a simple extraction becomes a chain reaction of dropped bags and bad decisions. The chaos is where the comedy lives: a heist that starts as a careful plan ends with everyone scrambling while the plan lies broken on the floor. Every run plays out differently, and the puzzles and branching outcomes give you reasons to come back for one more go.
