Grow up, bug by bug
You start small, as an aphid grub, and work your way toward your spawning ground deep in the microcosm. Each stage changes your body and what you can do, so the journey itself is the story: crawl, change shape, keep going deeper.
There is no dialogue to follow. You read the world instead — petals, stems, shells and other insects much larger than you — and figure out how to get past them. Nobody here will explain metamorphosis to you. You just live it.
Search, trade, solve
Each area is a dense little ecosystem to poke through. You hunt for small items hidden in the foliage, carry them to the insect that wants them, and in return get a path opened or a puzzle unlocked.
The puzzles are mostly gentle observation and logic, with a trickier finish that may take patience. The whole thing moves slowly, with soft, organic art and a calm soundtrack that rewards looking closely. Think of it as an evening stroll where everyone has six legs.
What else should you know?
How long does it take to finish?
It is short. Set aside a quiet evening and you can drift from grub to spawning ground in one sitting, which suits its slow, look-around pace.
Is there any fighting in it?
No. Obstacles are other insects blocking your way, and you get past them by finding what they need or solving a puzzle, not by fighting.
Do you need to understand English to play it?
Hardly at all. There are no real instructions or conversations to read, so you solve everything by watching the scene and trying things out.
