Plan a life, then let it run
Everything you do, from gathering food to building and exploring, goes into a queue. You line up jobs, constructions and journeys step by step, and the game carries them out on its own. When the queue runs dry, the game pauses by itself, so no time is wasted while you are away. This is a game about planning, not clicking: the fun is in deciding what your character does next, then watching the plan unfold. If you would rather steer in the moment, you can push anything to the front of the queue at any time. Check in every half hour or so, adjust the route, and let it run again.
Skills that outlive you
Every action trains a skill, like Farming or Woodcutting, and every skill levels in two ways. Generation levels grow fast and make you better within one life. Instinct levels grow slowly but survive death, permanently improving every generation that follows. The two together decide how quickly your character gets things done, and speed is survival, because faster actions leave more time for everything else. A stretch of road that took a whole lifetime early on becomes a quick errand a few generations later. That is the quiet pleasure of the game: watching work you once struggled with turn routine.
Death is the point
Your health declines faster and faster as a life goes on, and eventually it runs out. That is not failure, it is the engine. Each generation inherits the instincts of all the ones before, so every new life starts better prepared and can push further than the last. The longer a generation survives, the more it adds to the ones that come after. There are no prestige resets here, just one continuous cycle of living, dying and improving. Death is inevitable, but it is never wasted, and that single idea carries the whole game.
