Kick doors, shoot fast, keep moving
You start outside a room, kick the door open and trade shots at close range, then move before the next wave lines you up. Your shotgun hits hard, killing enemies gives back a little health, and quick footwork matters more than hiding. You can slink around for a better angle or go straight in loud. You burn stacks of cash after the fighting, just to make the point. Death comes quick and retries load fast, so a failed run turns into another try at a cleaner route.
Twenty strange jobs and silly loading screens
The campaign runs about one to two hours across more than 20 handcrafted missions: smash drug labs, deface corporate statues, pop brainwashed chimps, save sacrificial goats and take down eccentric bosses. Each level has side objectives, secrets and hidden cigarette butts, plus shortcuts that reward a second pass. Between missions you get interactive loading scenes where you mess with props, toss hot dogs or pose a boss for yoga. The soundtrack is a full-length face-melting set by Doseone, all aggressive electronic pressure under the noise.
What else should you know?
How long is the campaign?
About one to two hours for a first run through the 20-plus missions. The length comes from replaying levels for side objectives, secrets, cigarette butts, faster completion times and higher scores on the Steam leaderboards.
How does healing work?
Killing enemies restores a small amount of health, so standing still gets you killed and pushing forward keeps you alive. It favors precise shots and steady movement through each room.
Can you play it solo?
Yes, it is a single-player shooter with keyboard and mouse controls and no co-op. Competition is through solo score and speed leaderboards.
What are the loading screens like?
They are short interactive bits between levels with absurd tasks involving props, food or boss poses. They keep your hands busy while the next mission loads and set up the game's dry, nonsensical humor.
