$5.99Execute From guillotine to nukes
Run a grim little machine of capture, automation and escalating horror, one absurd step at a time.
Is Execute worth it?
Execute is worth it if…
- you like incremental games that keep you actively clicking instead of checking in once an hour
- you want something short: a full run takes roughly three to six hours
- you enjoy dark humor and don't mind a game about ending humanity
- you like the look of old operating systems and pixel art doing unsettling work

From one blade to the bomb
The loop starts small. Capture people, feed them to a guillotine, collect what the process leaves behind, buy upgrades. Then the machines multiply: mines, contraptions, grease production, lightning. Each new method kills faster than the last, and each one needs managing, so there is always something to click, queue or tune. The early game is a juggling act of resources and menus, and it stays engaging instead of fading into pure idling. The endgame changes shape: you build nukes, and the last stretch is mostly holding one button while the counter collapses. That final phase is less interesting than everything before it, but it only lasts about half an hour, and watching a billion vanish at once is a payoff of its own.
What else should you know?
Is it actually scary or horrible to play?
The subject is grim, but the feel is more deadpan than gory. Everything happens as numbers and small pixel scenes on a retro desktop, so the horror stays abstract and the tone lands closer to dark comedy than dread. If you want visible carnage, this is not that; if you want the unsettling part to be how calmly the spreadsheet of extinction runs, it delivers.
Can you play it while listening to your own music?
Yes. The game has no music of its own, just the quiet hum of an old operating system, so it pairs naturally with a podcast or playlist in the background. It is an active game though, especially early on, so you will be tabbed in and clicking more often than a typical idler asks of you.
