$9.99Caster
Caster is a fast third-person shooter where you sprint across open landscapes blasting bug-like Flanx with six different attacks, including terrain-shaping blasts and rapid energy barrages. You revive trees, gather energy and spend it on upgrades until you run on water and leap hundreds of feet. Short, scrappy and built for speed.

Sprinting, blasting and reshaping the ground
You move fast here. You dash across open locations, fire barrages of energy blasts at hordes of Flanx, and carve chunks out of the terrain with heavier attacks. The bugs fight back with their own behaviors and attacks, so you keep moving, pick your angle and choose which of the six attacks fits the swarm in front of you.
Movement is the reward in itself. Running stays smooth, jumps get absurdly high, and upgraded legs let you cross water without slowing down. You bring dead trees back to life as you go, scoop up the energy they release, and put it straight into stronger shots and faster legs.
Trees, energy and better legs
Every level is a loop of clearing Flanx, healing the landscape and getting stronger. Revived trees pay out energy, and energy buys upgrades for your attacks and mobility. Early runs feel plain on foot, then the upgrades stack and the same map plays completely differently.
There are two playable characters and three difficulty settings, Casual, Normal and Extreme, plus pulse-pounding electronic music from Trance Emerson keeping time with the shooting. It is a short game with simple looks, best taken as a burst of speed and destruction rather than a long campaign.
What else should you know?
How do the six attacks work?
You get six distinct tools for killing Flanx, from rapid energy blasts to attacks that deform the terrain itself. The mix lets you handle packed hordes, tougher bugs and awkward ground in different ways, and upgrades make each one hit harder as you collect more energy.
What do you actually do with trees?
Dead trees can be brought back to life, which releases energy you collect. That energy is the currency for upgrades, so healing the landscape directly funds faster running, higher jumps and stronger attacks.
How hard is it?
You choose Casual, Normal or Extreme, and difficulty rises across the levels as Flanx numbers and damage grow. Controls stay simple and movement stays smooth, so the challenge comes from positioning, choosing attacks and avoiding damage while moving at speed.
