Lead a scrappy adventuring party across a corrupted dark fantasy world, guarding a living crystal all the way to the Infernal Rift to destroy the demon overlord Korghul. Gridless turn-based fights, nasty weather, and roguelike runs that punish sloppy cover make every trip short, sharp, and worth another go.

Guard the crystal that fights back
You escort the Earthglass Crystal to the Infernal Rift, and losing it ends the run. So you hold the line around it, drag enemies away, drop obstacles, and pick skills for the crystal itself as well as your crew. You choose from Brawler, Hunter, Arcanist, Druid, and Priest recruits, plus companions, then stack melee, ranged, area, and grappling skills into combos. Bleeding, poison, binding, stun, and burn can turn a fight, just as easily against you. It is bloody difficult, and mistakes hurt.
No grid, plenty of bad angles
You slide your party into cover, flank wide, or pull back to the crystal, while enemies do the same and find their own angles. Positioning and skill order matter more than raw damage: a dash at the right moment, a summoned blocker, a linked attack that hits two problems at once. Procedural routes keep each journey different, with quests, shops, events, enemies, and bosses to choose between. Fights stay quick and tactical, and a good combo feels earned.
Set the grass on fire, blame the weather
The battlefield is a toolbox with a sense of humor. You hide the party in long grass, then burn that grass so nothing else can use it. You herd enemies into water to make electric attacks sting harder. Then the sky joins in: dense fog hides everyone, rain boosts electricity, strong wind ruins aim. Fair. You will take the spark, the puddle, and the match.
What else should you know?
How do runs and progression work?
Each journey is procedurally generated, so maps, fights, events, gear, and skills land differently every time. Death ends that trip, but you keep lessons and unlock new active and passive skills for future adventurers and for the crystal. Meta progression is light rather than run-defining, so expect around 15 to 20 hours of fresh combinations before builds start to repeat.
Can the crystal actually fight?
Yes. Alongside your heroes, the Earthglass Crystal unlocks its own combat skills. You build it up like a fifth party member worth protecting, adding powers that punish anything that crowds it. Keeping it alive is still the job, it just hits back now.
What classes can join your party?
You do not start with the full roster every time: new heroes turn up along the journey through events and choices, so parties form around who you find and which skills show up.
How much does the environment change combat?
A lot. Cover, long grass, water, objects, and enemies themselves all shape the result, and weather shifts it further with fog, rain, and wind. Electric skills love wet targets and wet skies, fire removes hiding places, and gusts make long shots risky. Reading the field is half the tactic.
