Potions Practicum

Take over your mother’s potion shop for a single, unpredictable week.

In this cozy but strategic shop management roguelike, every decision matters. Brew potions, serve strange customers, and try to keep your business alive long enough to make it to the end of the week.

🧙‍♀️ Run the Shop

Customers arrive with requests, offers, and problems: some straightforward, others… less so. Choose how to respond:

Sell potions

Buy rare ingredients

Refuse service (at your own risk)

Your choices shape your gold and reputation. Lose either, and it’s game over.

⚗️ Experiment in the Lab

Use three tools to craft potions:

Mortar

Cauldron

Alembic

Recipes aren’t handed to you—you’ll discover them through experimentation. Every successful discovery is permanently recorded for future runs.

📖 Build Your Knowledge

As you play, your collection of known formulas grows. Mastering the system means recognizing patterns, optimizing ingredients, and preparing for what customers might ask next.

🐈 A Cat With Opinions

You’re not alone. Your sharp-tongued black cat companion watches everything; and isn’t shy about commenting on your choices.

🔁 Replayable Roguelike Structure

Each run is a fresh attempt to survive the week:

New events and customer combinations

Different resource pressures

Increasing mastery over your recipes

⚖️ The Core Challenge

Balance:

Risk vs reward

Experimentation vs reliability

Profit vs reputation

Can you keep the shop alive… for all seven days?
