Bing in Wonderland

Bing in Wonderland is a cartoony 2D action roguelite about clearing waves of strange enemies with bows, spears, cannons, axes, and harps. You stack boons and items into your own combat style, then flatten the crowd with the Butt Slam. Colorful, crude, and deliberately silly, it is built for quick monster-killing satisfaction.

Is Bing in Wonderland worth it?

Bing in Wonderland is worth it if…

  • you like wave-based roguelites with simple controls and silly humor
  • you like stacking weapons, items, and boons into overpowered builds
  • you want short runs where you feel strong quickly

Waves of weird enemies and stacked boons

You fight stage by stage through varied enemies, some shooting thunder and some shooting thunder poop. Between fights you pick buffs, items, and boons around stats, skills, and single-use effects, then combine them into a build that suits the weapon in your hands.

For survivors-like fans, the pull is the growing crowd and the stacking math: more monsters, louder effects, stronger combinations. You keep moving across the arena, clear one wave, and choose what makes the next one melt faster.

Butt Slams, pancakes, and pointless details

After enough attacks you can trigger the Butt Slam, dropping straight onto a monster's face for heavy damage. Chain them together and the game pauses to show off, which is half the joke.

The rest is Wanba Studio nonsense in hand-drawn color: pancakes, money, fishes, odd dialogue, and useless details left in on purpose. The art is messy and surreal, the tone stays light, and runs stay fast and chaotic rather than careful.

What should you know before playing?

How does a run actually play?

You pick a character and weapon, then clear enemies across a run of stages. Before and after fights you choose buffs and pick up items that raise stats or add effects. Combat is direct action with bow, spear, cannon, axe, or harp, plus the Butt Slam finisher. There is no exploration between fights, only killing, upgrading, and moving to the next crowd.

What are Butt Slams and build choices?

Attacking builds toward the Butt Slam, a heavy sitting attack that deals large damage to monsters underneath you. Around it, you combine unique items and boons to shape your style, with different weapons favoring different rhythms. One run might lean on spear mobility, the next on cannon damage, depending on what drops and what you keep.

Can you make it easier if bosses spike?

Yes. The game includes an easier mode that lowers difficulty substantially, which helps when a later boss suddenly hits much harder than the previous stage. You can use it to learn stages, gather currencies for permanent upgrades, and unlock characters and weapons, then turn it off for the harder completion goals.
