$19.99Aeruta Slay monsters, sell bread
Aeruta pairs side-scrolling action with running your own bakery. You fight monsters for ingredients, bake them into bread, then stock the racks, work the till, and mop the floor to rebuild a rundown town. Cute pixel art, a funny tone, and a steady earn-and-upgrade loop make it an easy one to settle into.

Running the bakery shift
Your day in the shop is hands-on. You choose which breads go on the rack for the best return, keep stock coming so the shelves never sit empty, ring up customers before they give up and walk out, and clean the floor so you do not lose money.
Bread itself is lively here — loaves can wander off the shelf and need catching. Research and upgrade recipes to raise your shop rating, and as the town grows new friends arrive, with pets able to help out. It is repetitive in the way sim fans like: small tasks, clear payoff, a fuller till by closing time.
Fighting for flour and fillings
When the shelves run low, you head out with one of three weapons — rolling pin, whip, or rapier — each with its own skill tree to shape your style. You cut a path through themed areas full of cute but dangerous locals, clearing monsters for bread ingredients and wood.
Runs feed straight back into the shop: materials become new breads, earnings pay for weapon skills and bakery and town upgrades, including new buildings. Bosses bring pattern-based fights with dodges and parries, so combat stays brisk and purposeful rather than endless.
What else should you know?
How does the calendar shape your week?
The game runs on a calendar of six-day weeks across four seasons, and each day favors a different bread tag for higher prices. You check the calendar, then decide whether to open the bakery on a bonus day or spend the day gathering materials instead.
Can you make shop work easier over time?
Yes. Till upgrades can skip manual register inputs, and pets can be hired to help with restocking, the register, and cleaning. Recipe research also raises bread value, so the same loaves earn more as your bakery rating climbs.
What are the dungeons like to run?
Short side-scrolling floors with small enemy groups to clear before moving on, usually about five minutes per trip. You bring bread as healing plus buffs, use attacks, skills, and an air dash with brief invulnerability, and each area has its own theme and rare materials tied to new recipes.
