A delivery job at the end of the world
Civilization is gone, but the mail apparently still runs. The wasteland in between is the game. Weather turns against you, the ground fights back, and gravity itself is on the list of enemies. You pick your way around obstacles and try to keep the parcel intact, and there is a quiet satisfaction in finally arriving with everything in one piece. The whole thing is played with a straight face, which is where the humor comes from: a parody of a certain famous courier game, except this one knows exactly how absurd it is.
Can you play it with friends?
Can you play it with friends?
Yes, there is a multiplayer mode alongside the singleplayer story. That said, the game is at its most meditative alone: a calm soundtrack, empty landscapes, and nothing to do but put one foot in front of the other. Bring a friend if you want company on the road, play solo if you want the quiet.
Is it actually funny or just badly made?
Both, deliberately. It is a parody, and the humor comes from playing the courier fantasy completely straight while the physics wobble and the world refuses to cooperate. The joke is the point, not an accident. If you take your parcel deliveries seriously, this may test that; if you like a game that smirks at itself, it lands well.
Do you need to think hard while playing?
No, and that is the appeal. The task is simple and the game is explicitly built for unwinding: put on the soundtrack, watch the wasteland go by, and don't think about anything for a couple of hours. The only real decisions are how to get around an obstacle without damaging the parcel, and how much of the scenery you stop to look at on the way.
