- you enjoy swapping between cars, boats, planes and combat machines
- you like bright, family-friendly action with racing and physics play

Build anything that physics allows
Start with pre-made rides or snap together hundreds of blocks into your own car, plane, boat or walking oddity. Every part changes speed, handling, aerodynamics and combat ability, so a wing here or a heavier engine there actually matters. The builder stays simple enough to get rolling fast, with deeper tuning for when you start chasing perfect balance. Skins, colors and patterns let you give it your own look, preferably something that still looks good upside down.
One campaign, many biomes to cross
In Pioneers you join an elite society of engineers sent to help Gregory, a community of peaceful frogs whose planet is being stripped by the invading BOTNAKs. You travel an open world with friendly faces, enemies and missions, unlocking new parts as you go. Different terrain calls for different machines, so you keep rebuilding for mud, water, air and beyond. It works solo or with friends, which helps when a mission asks for more horsepower than your current creation has.
Guns, races and shared chaos
Bolt on miniguns, shotguns, rocket launchers, laser blasters, EMPs and nine other ways to ruin a friendship, then test them in PvP on land, sea, air or in space. Or keep it cleaner on Race Island, with 14 tracks and leaderboards waiting for your name. Five sandbox maps give you room to hang out, build together and poke at each other's machines, plus thousands of community workshop builds to borrow and pull apart for ideas.
Team up in every mode
Everything, including the story, supports 2-8 players online. Bring a friend through the whole campaign, crew a build together in a sandbox, or fill a server for races and battles. Multiplayer is built around showing off: pass around strange machines, steal good ideas, then go back to the builder to make yours slightly faster and considerably stranger.
Good to know?
What do I actually do in Trailmakers?
Build vehicles from hundreds of parts, then drive, sail, fly or fight them across open worlds. In the Pioneers campaign you complete missions, unlock parts and help the frog community of Gregory push back the BOTNAKs, switching designs to suit each biome.
Can I play the whole game with friends?
Yes. All modes, including the campaign, support 2-8 player multiplayer. You can team up for missions, build together in five sandbox maps, race or set up PvP battles on land, sea, air and in space.
How does building work if I am new to it?
Pick a pre-made vehicle or start from scratch, then add blocks that change speed, function, aerodynamics and combat strength. The system is made to be easy to pick up and tricky to perfect, with custom colors, skins and patterns for the finished machine.
What combat and racing options are there?
Fourteen weapons, including miniguns, shotguns, rocket launchers, laser blasters and EMPs, for PvP scenarios with friends or public games. Race Island adds 14 tracks with leaderboards for timed runs.
