Build your own underdog esports team
You start as a washed-up college student handed a clipboard and a second chance. You interview 15 players with very different stats and personalities, sign your favorites, and grind through the regular season toward the finals ticket.
Day to day you raise basic attributes, unlock new classes for different line-ups, and level your own coaching skills so training pays off faster. Before matches you run the intelligence war, scouting conditions to pick the right tactics. You can win on planning, and you can also win on pure luck, since random elements change every run. That same loop gets repetitive over a long season.
Date everyone at once, rivals included
Romance is the main event. There are 18 characters with love stories, 12 available to pursue, with the rest to come, and even players from enemy teams are fair game. You move from stranger to friend to something vaguer, one gift and hangout at a time, and nothing stops you chasing everybody simultaneously until you pick a final confession.
You shuttle between real life and an online game world where everyone has a second self to discover. The cast leans hard into tropes: cat-girl, cool senior, gloomy genius, sunshine puppy. The writing is plentiful rather than polished, and the big confession scenes are plain.
Go to class, hit the arcade, log in
When you are not coaching, you are still a student with attendance to keep. You check in for class instead of skipping, wander the internet cafe, board game hall, and food court to meet people, then log into the online game to travel, take tasks, and bump into those same people wearing different faces.
It gives the game a cozy daily rhythm: train in the morning, buy snacks, send messages, raise affection by night. The anime art is bright and the voiced lines help the large cast stick in your head, even when the school-life plots get silly. Think less accurate esports sim, more campus soap with scoreboards.
What should you know before coaching?
How does the team management actually work?
You sign players, train their attributes, unlock classes for new line-ups, upgrade your coaching skills, scout opponents before games, and play through tournaments. Matches resolve with tactics plus random factors, so scouting helps but upsets happen.
Who can you romance?
18 characters have love stories, with 12 open from the start. Your protagonist's gender locks some routes, including dedicated male and female lines, so check before you invest hours in one crush. You can raise affection with several characters in one run and choose at the end.
How long is one run?
Long enough to feel like a season. You juggle classes, city hangouts, online tasks, training, and tournament rounds, with lots of daily events and random text between matches. Save before the finals if you want to see more than one confession without replaying.
Does your gender choice matter?
Yes. Some characters can only be pursued on a specific protagonist gender path, and switching means starting over. If you want to see everything, plan for at least two runs.
