$29.99REMATCH Be the player, not the camera
REMATCH puts you in the boots of a single footballer in fast 3v3, 4v4 or 5v5 online matches, seen from a close third-person view. No switching to the star player: whoever you control is who you are. Pass, tackle, shoot, and make every touch count with your friends on the pitch.
Is REMATCH worth it?
REMATCH is worth it if…
- you want to play a single footballer, not manage the whole team
- you enjoy competitive matches where practice and positioning decide the winner
- you like fast rounds with quick decisions rather than slow, careful play
- you have a group of friends ready to fill a team of 3, 4 or 5
- you enjoy bright, stylized arenas more than a strict real-world simulation

One player, one role, every touch counts
Instead of commanding a whole team from above, you control one footballer in a tight third-person view, and the match unfolds in real time around you. When the ball comes your way, the decision is yours: carry it, thread the pass, or take the shot yourself. Defending feels just as immediate, with tackles and interceptions decided in split seconds. The arenas are bright and stylized, with a colorful, futuristic look that keeps the action easy to read at speed. Matches are short and intense, closer to arcade football than a slow simulation, and your character's look is yours to customize. One honest note: connection quality can affect how tackles and duels register, which matters more in a game this fast.
Built for playing together
Teams of 3, 4 or 5 mean the game is at its best with friends in the lobby. You agree on a plan before kickoff, then spend the match reading each other: a run into space, a call for the ball, a defender holding the line while you push up. Because everyone controls a single player, nobody is carried and nobody is a spectator; every position on the pitch is a real job. Rounds are quick to join and quick to finish, so a session fits around conversation rather than replacing it. If you like the social side of co-op games but want something to argue about afterwards (that missed pass, that shot from halfway), this is the setup for it.
Can you play with friends in the same match?
Can you play with friends in the same match?
Yes. Matches are played in teams of 3, 4 or 5, so a full squad of friends can take the pitch together, and the online co-op setup is built around joining a lobby and jumping into rounds as a group. Because each player controls only one footballer, playing with friends also changes how the game feels: you can divide roles, cover for each other and set up plays that random teammates rarely manage.
Do you control the whole team or just one player?
Just one player. Teammates are other players controlling their own footballers, so there is no switching to whoever has the ball. It makes the game closer to a team sport played from the inside than a management view of football.
Is it more arcade or simulation?
It leans arcade. Matches are fast and continuous, with quick transitions between attack and defense and an emphasis on reflexes and timing rather than slow build-up play. The look follows suit: colorful, stylized and futuristic rather than a broadcast-realistic recreation. There are real football fundamentals to learn, like positioning and passing lanes, but the pace stays high throughout.
How long is a typical session?
Matches are short and self-contained, so sessions are flexible. You can play a round or two in twenty minutes, or settle in for a longer evening of ranked play with a full team. There is no campaign or single-player structure to get through: the game is built around online matches, so your session length is really up to how many rounds you and your friends want.
