Is Rebel Forces worth it?
Rebel Forces is worth it if…
- you like fast arena combat with jump-heavy movement and no learning curve
- you have a friend or two up for a silly, laid-back match rather than a serious one
- you enjoy earning in-game cash quickly and spending it on guns and armor without any grinding

Arena combat at full sprint
Matches are short, loud and fast. You run at speed that leaves no time for careful peeking, jump higher than any soldier should, and trade hitscan fire with whoever crosses your path. Several room options let you crank it further: double speed, double jump, double health. Turn them all on and a match turns into a bouncing, explosive mess where plans fall apart in seconds. There are three game modes across six maps, plus a single-player side against bots when you want to shoot something without an internet connection. It is easy to pick up with no real learning curve, and the fun is in the frantic pace, not in realism. The graphics look about a decade and a half old, and the game never pretends otherwise.
What should you know before playing?
Can you play it alone?
Yes. There is a single-player mode against bots, and the bot AI is on the easy side, so treat it as target practice and a way to earn cash rather than a challenge. The multiplayer matches are where the game is at its best.
Will it run on an old or weak computer?
Almost certainly. It is famously light: it runs on very modest hardware and integrated graphics, takes up only a small amount of space, and handles slow connections well. If your machine can run games from the mid-2000s, you are fine.
Is the multiplayer still active?
It depends on when you look. There are usually some people playing, but the crowd is small compared to the game's busier days, so it works best as a game to set up a room with friends. Solo, the bots are there whenever you want them.
