Is Pool Blitz worth it?
Pool Blitz is worth it if…
- you want quick online pool matches without learning a full simulator
- you like competing against real people, not just the computer
- you enjoy short sessions that are easy to fit into an evening
- you want to play tournaments with friends and talk trash in chat

Three ways to play the table
The classics are here: 8-Ball and 9-Ball, playable as 1v1 matches or in tournaments that climb a leaderboard. Then there is Blitz, the mode that gives the game its name. Every ball you pot drops onto your opponent's table, so the pace never lets up: keep shooting, score big and survive the rush. It turns careful pool into something closer to a scramble, and it works. Matches stay short and decisions come fast, so a session rarely outstays its welcome. One more game before bed is a real risk.
Playing against actual people
This is a game built around rivals. Cross-platform multiplayer means the table is rarely empty, and you can bring up to 7 friends into a real-time tournament, or sit in as a spectator and heckle with the in-game chat and emojis. The aiming is simple enough to pick up in an evening, but spin, shot angles and cue ball control reward practice. Cinematic camera views, controlled with keyboard and mouse, make lining up a trick shot feel like more than a mouse drag. It leans arcade rather than strict simulation: cues carry their own skills and upgrades, which keeps things lively but means gear matters.
What should you know before playing?
Is it a realistic pool simulator?
Not quite. The physics of shots and bounces feel solid, and the 3D tables look good, but cues carry skills and power-ups that no real cue stick has. Think arcade pool with a competitive edge rather than a training tool for the local hall. If you want strict simulation, this is not it.
Can you play with friends?
Yes. Tournaments support up to 8 players in real time, friends included, and there is cross-platform play with people on other devices. You can also spectate matches and use chat and emojis to react to every fluffed shot. There is no offline mode, so you need a connection.
How long does a match take?
Short. Matches are streamlined for a quick pace, and Blitz mode in particular pushes you to shoot fast and keep scoring. It suits an hour of unwinding in the evening far better than a long planned session, and the short rounds make it easy to stop, or very hard to.
