$29.99Miscreated One life, one grim open world
Scavenge, craft and build a base while mutants, weather and other players hunt you across a bleak post-apocalyptic map.
Is Miscreated worth it?
Miscreated is worth it if…
- you want a hardcore survival game where the weather, the mutants and the other players are all out to get you
- you like building a base from hundreds of parts and actually having to keep it
- you enjoy tense first-person scavenging where one death means losing everything you carried
- you would rather hunt, farm and cook than trust anything you found lying on the ground
- you have friends to form a clan with, though going it alone works too

A world left to rot, beautifully
The map is the reason people stay. Forests have swallowed the cars, cities stand hollow, and deep caves, bunkers and sewers wait below it all. You can search trash cans, ransack computers, restore power to a bunker or check a toilet for water, so the world rewards poking at it instead of just running through. One moment you might be picking through a decayed house, the next staring down a street at fog thick enough to hide anything. It is a grim, quiet place, and the emptiness is part of the design.
Weather that wants you dead
Mother nature is on the enemy list, and she earns it. Thunderstorms roll in with a sound that makes you want to stay indoors, fog cuts your visibility to nothing, and blizzards, tornadoes and radiation storms all show up unannounced. A full temperature system means cold and heat change how your character performs, so you dress for the season or find shelter and wait it out. Some players admit they hide inside during the worst storms, and honestly, that is the sensible move.
Eating without dying
After The Final War, most of what you find is dirty, irradiated or outright poisoned, so you inspect everything before it goes anywhere near your mouth. The safe routes take more work: hunt wildlife for meat and cook it properly, or grow your own crops. Get it wrong and the wasteland claims you in the least glamorous way possible. It turns every meal into a small decision, and every clean drink of water into a small victory.
Build it, then defend it
Crafting guides unlock more advanced components, and stronger building pieces are scattered across the world for you to tow back to your base. Form a clan with friends or strangers and combine efforts on something bigger. The catch is that a good base attracts attention, and with one life per character, holding onto what you built is where the real tension lives.
What should you know before playing?
Can you play it solo?
Yes. It is built as an online multiplayer game, and other survivors are a real threat, but you can survive alone: hunt, grow crops, build a base and fight the mutants and the elements on your own terms. Playing with friends or a clan makes base building and defence easier, but nothing stops you from starting solo and seeing how long you last.
How dangerous is it, really?
Hardcore is the word. You get one life, so dying in combat or from a wound means losing the gear you were carrying, which makes every encounter with mutants, animals or other players genuinely nerve-racking. Even the food and water are out to get you until you inspect them. If you want a survival game that stays tense from the first minute, this is it.
What weapons and vehicles are there?
Over 100 weapons, from melee and pistols to assault rifles, long-range rifles, traps and even non-lethal options that let you knock a player out and restrain them instead of killing. You can add collectible attachments and scopes or craft your own. On top of that there are more than 15 drivable vehicle types to find and repair, for land and for water.
What are the mutants like?
Varied, and best met with caution. Some shamble, some sprint and dodge your aim, some are huge and soak up bullets, and rarer ones are best avoided entirely. They roam in groups at times, and the wildlife is no safer: wolves and bears will come after you, while deer and crabs are more likely to end up as dinner than as a threat.
