Is Kitchen Wars worth it?
Kitchen Wars is worth it if…
- you want a couch game that a mixed group of kids and adults can actually play together
- you like party games where the sabotage is half the fun
- you enjoy fast rounds of serving, stealing and throwing things at your friends
- you'd rather cause chaos in someone else's restaurant than cook calmly in your own

Run a restaurant, ruin theirs
Two restaurants, one set of customers, and only one way to win: keep your guests happy while making sure the place across the street can't. You grab plates and deliver meals quickly, because a satisfied customer means money in the till. Meanwhile the other team is doing everything short of arson to slow you down. Every round becomes a race between your service and their sabotage, and the team that balances both takes the win.
Sabotage, the house speciality
The fighting here is kitchen-grade. You use weapons, hurl items across the room and disrupt the rival restaurant however you can. The signature move is chair theft: walk into the competition, swipe their seats, and watch their seating capacity shrink while their customers queue outside. It's a petty, glorious form of warfare, and the physics make every thrown object and stolen chair land somewhere nobody planned.
One room, eight players, zero calm
This is a game built for a group in one room. Up to 8 players can play locally, the rules take a minute to explain, and rounds move fast enough that everyone stays in the action. When somebody lobs a bin across the kitchen mid-service, the whole room has something to laugh about.
Co-op with a competitive streak
Working with a partner means splitting the jobs: one of you keeps the orders moving while the other handles the less legal side of the business. The online side leans on finding a lobby, so the easiest way to get a full table is to bring your own friends. Either way, the game is at its best when there's a rival team to outsmart.
