$9.99KINGDOMS
KINGDOMS is a procedural medieval RPG in a randomly generated open world run by smart NPC AI. Villages grow, houses and taverns go up, and locals chase their own goals while you explore ruins, trade, fight bandits, or start your own settlement and rule it.
Is KINGDOMS worth it?
KINGDOMS is worth it if…
- you like open-ended medieval sandboxes with no set path
- you enjoy watching NPCs live their own lives and build towns
- you want to trade, craft, fight, explore, then found and manage a kingdom

A world that builds itself around you
Settlements appear while you wander. NPCs decide what to build next, so houses, taverns, and shops go up without your permission, and the world reacts to what you do.
Each NPC has a life goal plus temper, motivation, reputation, and skills. Even two villagers with the same goal will reach it in different ways depending on the situation. You watch a hamlet turn into a village, then wonder if you helped or just got in the way.
Become anyone, from drifter to ruler
You can go anywhere and do much as you like. Explore caves and ruins, fight wild animals and bandits, trade with other characters, or open a shop, tavern, or manufactory.
Or think bigger: found a settlement or a whole kingdom and manage it, or just lend a hand to other people. The fun is picking a life, blacksmith today, town founder tomorrow, and seeing how long the plan survives contact with your neighbors.
What else should you know?
What do you actually do day to day?
Wander a randomly generated open world, poke through caves and ruins, hunt animals, deal with bandits, trade, and talk your way into work. When you are ready, you can open a business, build houses, start a settlement, and try to keep it running.
How does the NPC AI change things?
NPCs have their own goals, temperaments, skills, and reputations, and they build and develop settlements on their own. That means towns shift while you are busy elsewhere, and the same situation can play out differently depending on who is involved.
Can you play as a ruler?
Yes. You can create and manage settlements or even whole kingdoms, deciding how they grow. Or you can stay small, run a shop or tavern, help other people, and let someone else deal with the taxes and town planning.
