Your job: teach one small worker to think
Each level hands you a task from the boss: pick up boxes, do something to the numbers inside, put them where they belong. You do none of it yourself. You build the instructions, from a small set of commands like grab, drop, add, subtract and jump, and then watch your worker carry them out, step by step, on the office floor.
That is the whole trick of the game: you do not control the character, you control the plan. When it works, boxes flow exactly where they should. When it does not, your worker cheerfully does the wrong thing forever, and the fix is yours to find. It is programming with the scary parts stripped away, and the game walks you in gently, one new command at a time.
Solving it is only the start
Getting a level to pass feels good. Getting it to pass well is where the game keeps you. Each level tracks two extra goals: use fewer instructions, and finish in fewer steps. Often you cannot have both at once, so you rewrite, run it again, and watch where your little worker wastes a move.
This turns a finished puzzle into a small engineering problem. Maybe a loop can replace three copied commands. Maybe a different order saves twenty steps. If you already code, these challenges are where the game stops being easy.
