Free to playHobs Deck building with a grudge
A turn-based card game where you build a deck, buy new heroes and duel your way to the top.
Is Hobs worth it?
Hobs is worth it if…
- you like card games where the deck is yours to shape, match after match
- you want short, turn-based duels you can play with a friend online
- you enjoy bright, pared-back pixel art over big flashy productions
- you have a friend to queue up with, since finding random opponents can take a while

Better with a partner in crime
Hobs plays online, and that includes co-op: bring a friend, compare notes on decks and figure out together which heroes fit the plan. Half the fun of a card game is the argument afterwards, and it is much easier to have when the other person was there. The matches are turn-based, so there is time to talk through a move before you commit to it. One more round turns into five, and suddenly the evening is gone.
Build the deck, then rebuild it
The core loop is simple: pick a strategy, find the cards that serve it, buy new heroes and see how far the plan holds up. When it falls apart, and it will, you go back and try something else. That is the point. The game is built for repeat attempts, with short sessions and enough combinations that two runs rarely look the same. The look matches the thinking: clean, colorful pixel art with nothing on screen that does not need to be there, and a cheerful retro feel while you plot someone's downfall.
