Is Devolverland Expo worth it?
Devolverland Expo is worth it if…
- you enjoy a short, silly infiltration more than a long campaign
- you like spotting references and jokes tucked into every booth
- you want light stealth and light puzzles without much pressure
- you are curious what an empty game convention looks like from the inside

A heist with a t-shirt cannon
Your one weapon is a promotional t-shirt cannon, built to fling merch at crowds. Here it fires at switches across the room, knocks out fuses to blind security cameras, and stuns the patrol drones hunting you. The halls are rigged with laser tripwires and motion sensors, so you move carefully, duck through vents and slip from booth to booth. There is even a boss at the end, which is more than most break-ins can say.
How long does it take to finish?
Is there anything to do besides sneaking around?
Plenty of looking. The booths are the real attraction: each one is themed after a different game, with jokes, signs and references hidden around the halls. If you like poking into corners just to see what is there, this venue rewards it.
Can you play it with friends?
There is a co-op mode, so you can share the empty halls with someone else. That said, the experience is designed around a single infiltration, and most people will get the full run out of it solo.
