Loot fast, lose it faster
Progression here is swift and loot is plenty, which keeps every run tempting. You grab valuable gear, haul it to a safe zone for storage, or risk carrying it a little longer for one more mission. Missions show as clear marks on the map, and events plus patrolling NPCs fill the forests, rivers and settlements of this post-Soviet apocalypse. There are no levels to grind. Your standing is your aim and the equipment you managed to bring home.
Your base, from shack to fortress
You can build almost anywhere outside settlements with an intuitive building tool. Start with a secluded shack, work up to a secured fortress with turrets and traps, codelocks on the doors and vehicles parked inside. Comfort items make the place cozier and give useful gameplay boosts, which is a pleasant excuse for interior decorating with a tactical purpose. On PVP servers with open raiding, that decoration had better include serious defenses, because other players can come knocking.
Pick your kind of danger
Three server styles set the tone. PVP is hardcore fighting and unlimited base raiding. PVE is calmer, with no fighting or stealing between players, and the game itself suggests it as the place to learn the mechanics. PVP with scheduled raids sits in between, with raiding allowed only at set times. One rule follows you everywhere: when you log off, your character disappears with whatever loot is on your body, so log out dressed for loss.
Guns, ballistics and dirty tricks
The arsenal holds 32 firearms to modify with scopes, expanded mags, flashlights, silencers and other modules. Combat leans hardcore and ballistic, and you can fight in first or third person. Tripwire traps, respawn bags and smoke grenades add a tactical layer: block sightlines, punish chasers, keep a backup spawn ready. Getting around is easy too. Walk if you must, but cars, motorcycles, boats and a Quick Travel metro system will save your legs and your loot run.
What should you know before playing?
How do safe zones and wild bases work?
Safe zones are the careful option for storing valuable gear. A base in the wild is the ambitious one: build anywhere outside settlements, add turrets, traps and codelocks, raise comfort for gameplay boosts, and store vehicles and loot there. It is yours to defend, especially on PVP servers where raiding has no limits.
How do you get around the map?
On foot, by car, motorcycle or boat, plus a Quick Travel metro system for longer jumps. Vehicles can be secured with codelocks and used for extra storage, which makes them rolling backpacks with engines. Less running, more raiding.
What are missions and events like?
An intuitive mission system puts clearly marked objectives on the map, alongside challenging events and patrolling NPCs across forests, rivers and settlements. Expect a fight on arrival rather than a quiet pickup. Skill and equipment decide how it goes, since there are no levels or stat bars to hide behind.
