$14.99Crea
Crea is a 2D pixel-art sandbox RPG about getting stronger at everything you actually do: swing a sword, dig a tunnel, loose an arrow, and your talents grow with it. You will research materials, forge gear with strange attributes, block and roll through monster fights, and hop between procedurally generated worlds. Rough edges included.

- you like 2D sandbox survival craft with real RPG leveling
- you enjoy researching materials and tinkering with crafted gear
- you want block-and-dodge combat with swords, spears, bows, and magic
- you like modding, or playing with mods other people made

Level up by doing everything
You start with almost nothing and shape yourself one action at a time. Mine, gather, fight, cast, and your talents feed into over 80 skills, so digging that long tunnel can mean faster pickaxes, wider swings, or better shop prices.
Combat asks for timing rather than clicking. You pick sword, spear, bow, or magic, then block with a shield and dodge-roll through monsters that each have their own attacks, up to large bosses that expect you to die first. You drop a Way Crystal, teleport home, upgrade your gear to carry its stats forward, and come back tougher.
Research, scrolls, and chaos at the forge
Loot is only half the story. You research raw materials to learn what they can become, find old recipe scrolls out in the world, and turn the results into hundreds of items with unusual attributes.
Then there is chaos crafting, a little minigame where you push your luck to make gear even stronger. It suits the tinkerer who would rather coax one more stat point out of a spear than buy a new one. Add player-made mods in Python, procedurally generated worlds, shifting dungeons through portals, and whole new Realms beyond the main map, and there is always another shelf to fill.
Good to know before you start?
Can you play it solo or with friends?
Both. It supports single-player and multiplayer co-op, so you can dig, build, and take on bosses alone or bring friends along for the same procedurally generated mess.
How does learning skills work?
Through use. Fighting, gathering, and crafting improve related talents, which unlock skills across a large tree. Stick with magic and you open stranger casting tricks; live on your pickaxe and gathering gets faster and wider.
What is there to explore?
Large procedurally generated worlds, dungeons that look and play differently each time, portals to small challenge areas, and separate Realms beyond the main world. Way Crystals, Way Shards, and Rifts handle fast travel, plus scattered lore pages for the history-minded.
