Cold Rails Mix drinks, survive the ride
Cold Rails puts you behind the bar of a moving train, mixing drinks for passengers while a woman in a dress stalks the cars. Explore, solve puzzles, hide when she gets close, and piece together the disturbing story riding with you. Old-school survival horror with real teeth.
Is Cold Rails worth it?
Cold Rails is worth it if…
- you enjoy old-school survival horror where resources are scarce and getting caught costs you
- you like tense hide-and-seek chases with a stalking figure and no footsteps to warn you
- you want a story-driven mystery to piece together between puzzles
- you don't mind restarting from the beginning: it is a demanding game, and a tough one to finish

A night shift that goes wrong
The job sounds simple: serve drinks to the passengers of a moving train. Then the woman in a dress appears, and the cars you were working become the cars you are trying to survive. You explore the train, solve environmental puzzles to push forward, and uncover the disturbing story hidden in its cars. Survival is old school and unforgiving. You can carry only four items at a time, and their locations shuffle every run, so searching every corner is part of the job. When she closes in, the screen turns red and you run, watching your stamina, or slip under a bed and wait. She is faster than you walk, so hiding too close gets you caught. It is tense, atmospheric horror where every trip down the corridor is a decision.
