Aragami Shadows at Your Command

An undead ninja slips through a city of guards, bending darkness itself to reach each target unseen.

Is Aragami worth it?

Aragami is worth it if…

  • you like stealth where being seen is the real failure state, not a health bar to burn through
  • you enjoy planning a route through patrols before you move a single step
  • you want powers that let you choose between silent ghost runs and clean assassinations
  • you have a friend to run the whole campaign with in online co-op
  • you like stylized, atmospheric worlds with a strong soundtrack

Shadows are your weapon and your lifeline

The whole game runs on one rule: darkness is safety, light is danger. Your shadow energy only regenerates while you stay hidden, so every move is a small decision. Wait for the patrol to pass, or spend energy to conjure a fresh patch of shadow and leap into it? You teleport between dark spots, turn invisible, materialize weapons, and unlock stranger tricks as you go. One wrong step in the light and a single hit ends you: there is no health bar and no fighting your way out. When things go wrong, you vanish, break line of sight, and start the hunt again in silence.

Ghost or demon, your call

Every level has multiple paths, and the game rewards whichever kind of assassin you decide to be. Medals track three ways to play a mission: stay unseen, spare everyone, or kill everyone. Your skill choices push you the same way, split between powers that make you a better killer and powers that make you better at never being noticed. Abilities unlock through scrolls hidden across the levels, so early chapters are lean and careful, and a fully powered Aragami feels earned. The same map plays as a puzzle of light and dark either way.

A city of light worth haunting

You are a vengeful spirit summoned by Yamiko, a girl locked inside the fortress city of Kyuryu, held by the Kaiho, the army of Light. The story is a straight line rather than a web of secrets, but it keeps pulling you to the next mission.
