A boss nobody would miss
Li Baitian is the kind of manager who hears "my grandmother died, I need leave" and answers "what does that have to do with me?" He never looks for fault in himself, assumes anyone who can't do what he can is slacking, and takes work seriously to the point of being inhuman about it. Then his team's accumulated resentment pulls him into a twisted version of the company, and the mascot Jibao informs him the only way out is completing ten wishes from the grudge spirits of the very people he pushed around. The proud boss now has to humiliate himself or find another way around it. Jibao, a chatty self-declared company AI, helps out with prediction images to dodge danger and a soul-saving service. The humor is dark throughout, with a little gore on the side.
