Real people, filmed like a film
This is full-motion video: every scene is shot with live actors, and you see the world through Wu You's eyes. The production goes big on it. You ride in the passenger seat of a Rolls-Royce, sit in an Aston Martin from an in-car camera angle, and walk through a villa lined with collectible figures. The sets are lavish and the cast is easy on the eyes, which carries a lot of the experience. It plays like a romance drama staged around you, with quick-time events and interactions that pull you into the moment instead of leaving you to watch.
Two lives, over twenty endings
You play Wu You through two separate identities, the "rich" line and the "Yan" line, and each one is its own story with its own cast and its own hidden extras to dig out. Between them there are more than 100 story branches and over 20 endings, so a run you finished yesterday can go somewhere completely different today. Some endings even nod at Inception: as Wu You wakes in a hospital bed, a spinning top appears, and whether it keeps turning or falls tells you something about where you really are. Reaching the good endings changes what happens after, too.
A story you steer, one choice at a time
If you want a game where reading the scene and picking your words is the whole point, this is built for that. You move through conversations, choose how Wu You responds, and watch the plot fork around your decisions. Along the way, "system tasks" nudge you toward your goal, and you can pick out thoughtful gifts for the girl you are pursuing: the right surprise raises her affection and unlocks a personal photo album you can browse outside the story. The branches are plentiful, so there is always another route you have not tried.
Who are the seven women you can fall for?
Who are the seven women you can fall for?
Each has her own personality and her own story: a chairwoman, a female star, a coser, a pair of twins, the school beauty, a single mother, and the mysterious NPC who built the space you wake up in. Some are naive, some capricious, some sultry, some cool and distant. Each route treats her as its own story rather than a shared template.
Does one playthrough show you everything?
No, and that is the design. The two identities are separate stories, and with more than 100 branches and over 20 endings, a single run only covers a slice of it. Finishing one route makes the next one genuinely different, and each identity hides special extras for players who explore deeply.
Is it only about picking dialogue options?
Not quite. Choices drive the story, but you also get quick-time events, direct interaction with the live-action scenes, system tasks that guide your romance, and gift-giving that raises affection and unlocks each girl's exclusive photo album. The romance plays out through several kinds of participation, not just menus.
How does the story actually end?
The good endings play with that idea: after you finish one, the woman from that route can appear in his real life in a different way, as a fellow patient, a girlfriend, or a stranger on the street. Waking up is not always the whole answer, and the game leaves you something to think about.
