月に寄りそう乙女の作法 A maid with a secret

Yusei is the unwanted last branch of the Okura family, raised to be useful and kept like a bird in a cage. His one chance at freedom comes disguised: as "Kokura Asahi", he slips into Filia Girls Academy, a school for daughters of the upper class, and takes a job as maid to Luna, the academy's star student. That means living in her mansion, serving at her side, and keeping his real name and gender secret from everyone. The tension runs through everything: one slip at school or at the Sakura Mansion could end the whole double life.

Luna does not live alone. The mansion also houses Yurshul, a proud exchange student from Switzerland; Mizuho, a gentle lady of old noble stock; and Minato, a down-to-earth company heiress who was in love with Yusei back when he was a boy. Each of them comes with her own eccentric servants, and the whole household keeps turning Asahi's life upside down. The comedy comes from these collisions: sharp-tongued mistresses, loyal retainers, and a maid who knows more than anyone suspects.

This is a visual novel at heart: you read through an illustrated, fully voiced story at your own pace, with no timers and no failure states. The common route builds the household's daily life and comedy, then your choices carry you into separate routes for each heroine, with multiple endings. The Luna route is the one people remember: her story with Asahi, from mistress and maid to something neither expected, is widely called the heart of the game. The common route takes its time before the drama starts, so come for the slow burn. This Steam release is the full package: the protagonist fully voiced, the After Story, and an April Fool special episode, in Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese at full HD.
