Aniimo Catch, Twine, become anything

Roam a colorful open world, collect creatures and borrow their forms and skills, alone or with friends. ===

Is Aniimo worth it?

Aniimo is worth it if…

  • you like creature collecting in the style of Pokémon
  • you want to take the form of your catches and use their skills
  • you like revisiting places to see what weather and time reveal
  • you want online co-op, competitions, and a home to decorate

Become the creatures you catch

Once an Aniimo is yours, Twining lets you step into its body and play as that creature. Those borrowed skills help with puzzles, battles, and other challenges you meet along the way.

Gliding, diving and burrowing are ways of crossing the open world.

Catching, weather, and evolving your roster

You catch Aniimo with Aniipods, setting traps and timing the throw. What shows up depends on the environment, weather, strange phenomena, and time of day, so the same route can hold something new on a return visit. Evolution covers much of the roster, with most Aniimo able to reach a later stage.

Collecting the Aniimo is a highlight. Comparisons to Pokémon fit, and catching and evolving are part of play. Creatures are not obtained through gacha pulls.

Other Pathfinders, Egg Heist, and home life

Idyll is shared with other Pathfinders, and you can meet them out in the world and battle in competitions. For Egg Heist, you head to the Lost Isles with two teammates whenever you are ready, searching and battling together in real time.

Your home on wheels is a personal RV, waiting back at an open-world campsite. Back in Homeland, you plant crops, build decorations, and arrange your space with Aniimo around you.

What else should you know?

How does Twining change how you play?

Twining gives you the form and skills of an Aniimo from your collection. Each new catch joins that collection ready for you to play as.

Do you have to pay to progress?

Progression is possible without paying, and most paid items are cosmetic. You can keep catching and evolving through play.

What is Egg Heist?

Egg Heist is a PvEvP mode set in the Lost Isles. You join in with a small squad whenever suits you, then search and battle in real time.
