One cat in two places
The whole game turns on one trick. Mittens splits into two cats, and each one can wander, push buttons, carry items and trigger switches on its own. With a second player, one of you takes each cat, so puzzles become small acts of timing and trust: you hold a door while your friend slips through, you stand unseen while the other draws the eye.
Played solo it is you cooperating with yourself. Played together it is calmer and funnier, the kind of co-op where you talk through the plan, try it, then laugh when the quantum logic does something unexpected.
A lab built for mischief
The setting is a secretive research facility full of test chambers, back tunnels, tubes and desks begging to have coffee knocked off them. The story follows a heist gone wrong, with pest-control robots, company emails to snoop through and a mysterious Shadow Cat to wonder about.
New puzzle ideas keep arriving as you go, plus hidden areas, mouse-bots to hunt and quantum shards for players who want extra to find. Dress-up options let each cat wear its own hats, breed look, accessories and chonk level, which stays visible in scenes.
Good to know?
Can you play it solo?
Yes. One person controls both quantum positions, switching between them to hold switches, move objects and line up the timing. The structure stays the same, and earlier areas stay open so missed collectibles can be picked up later.
How long and how tricky is it?
It is a surprisingly long game for its style, with a full story plus bonus puzzles, hidden areas and collectibles. Main puzzles are fair and steadily introduced, with tougher optional challenges for players who want more. Timing sections can be eased with accessibility settings.
What do you collect besides progress?
Company data, lore emails, F-Bucks and data chips reward poking around, and they fill in rivalries, fanfiction and odd employee notes. Quantum shards and sneaky mouse-bots give completion-minded co-op friends a shared checklist without blocking the story.
