ZedFall: Outbreak

ZedFall: Outbreak is a fast‑paced co‑op wave survival shooter with twin‑stick controls, evolving upgrade cards, and roguelike progression. Fight through numerous undead swarms, build powerful class combinations, and push your way through to the extraction stage. There are 3 main game modes to play; Wave Survival, Tower Defence, and Scavenge mode. Each game mode offers a different set of objectives and gameplay experience. The game also supports proximity based voice communication and first person perspective.

The infected keep coming, and every run can push you to your limits but the world around you must go on. Choose your class, level up, stack evolving upgrade cards and create character builds that can turn your run into chaos. Whether you’re fighting through waves for the chopper, defending a generator against the overwhelming numbers or scavenging supplies, teamwork keeps you alive… until it doesn’t.

Play solo or with friends, ZedFall: Outbreak supports up to 8 players with co‑op multiplayer and has a proximity based voice communication feature.

Wave Survival

Fight your way through escalating waves of undead to reach the final extraction stage. Every zombie killed drops an experience orb which can be picked up to level up your character. Each level up provides a stat point which can be used to select upgrade cards at the end of each wave to help your character become stronger. Every fifth round is a boss round, so make sure you're prepared.

Tower Defence

The infected enter the map through a breached wall. To stop them you must build defences and protect the generator from the swarm. Each kill provides gold to buy or upgrade your defences. There are different types of infected so pick your towers carefully.

Scavenge

Survive and explore a more open world map with Scavenge mode. Search for explosives, destroy the targeted structures and collect the salvage. Destroying the structures will alert the horde so be prepared to stand your ground. Once all structures have been destroyed, kill the final boss and escape. This mode will keep players on their toes and is a great map to be experience in the first person mode.

First Person Mode

Playing from a first person view allows players to experience and enjoy the game in a totally different way. This mode can be toggled on or off using the custom mode lobby. All game modes are supported with first person mode and they offer the same rewards.
